ClariPath sends a single bill that covers both the technical services and the pathologist's analysis and interpretation.
Payors accepted include:
Medicare
The approved Medicare reimbursement for pathology fees in Augusta, Georgia are in the lowest third of fees nationally. It is likely that patient co-payments are lower with ClariPath than with most other labs. ClariPath will file to all secondary, supplemental, and/or MediGap insurance plans. This secondary insurance often pays all or most of the costs that Medicare does not.Georgia Medicaid
ClariPath is an in network provider for Georgia Medicaid.Insurance
ClariPath Labs accepts all PPO and indemnity plans from Blue Cross Blue Shield, and many other insurance plans. ClariPath won't hold patients responsible for out-of-network penalties that some managed care plans may impose for using an out-of-network laboratory. For patients with financial needs, ClariPath will work out fair and reasonable payment arrangements.
ClariPath does not yet accept:
HMOs
ClariPath cannot perform services for patients insured by an HMO, including EPOs, if they require that the patient use HMO contracted labs.Medicaid outside of Georgia
ClariPath does not yet accept Medicaid patients outside of Georgia
